As a small-scale breeder, every litter is thoughtfully planned with a strong focus on health, temperament, structure, and versatility. Our dogs are raised with care, intention, and a deep appreciation for everything that makes this breed so special — whether in the show ring, performance sports, or as beloved family companions.
At Rainstone Minis, we believe responsible breeding starts with health. All breeding dogs undergo full DNA panel testing for known hereditary diseases, including NAD, and must pass OFA hips, elbows, and yearly eye evaluations before being considered in the program.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life, but everything changed when I welcomed my first Miniature American Shepherd, Rain. She quickly became the heart behind the kennel name and the dog that reignited my passion in a whole new way.
Rain truly showcased the incredible versatility of this breed. Together, we earned titles in conformation, dock diving, barn hunting, sprinter, and trick dog sports. She approached everything with enthusiasm, intelligence, and heart. Although our time together was cut short, the impact she had on my life and passion for dogs continues to shape this program every day.

My greatest passion lies in training and showing in conformation. I genuinely love every part of the process — from grooming and ring preparation to the camaraderie within the dog community and the supportive yet competitive atmosphere of the sport.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of earning multiple titles with several Miniature American Shepherds. Through each dog, I continue learning more about structure, temperament, and preserving the qualities that make this breed so exceptional both in and out of the ring.

Nestled on a peaceful four-acre property in Carleton Place, Ontario, our dogs are raised in a hands-on, home-centered environment where they are loved as family first.
As a small breeding program, we focus on quality over quantity, allowing each dog and litter to receive intentional care, early socialization, and individual attention.
